Overclocking

What is Overclocking?
Overclocking (OC) is one way to improve computer performance by using hardware that run beyond the standard specified by the manufacturer / factory. Overclocking term officially does not exist or was never mentioned in the dictionary, computer dictionary.
Overclocking is not something unusual or even frightening. In fact, almost all computer component manufacturers provide products that are specifically directed to the specific market or like it overclock this.

While this component of the computer most often in the "overclocking" is:
1. Processor or CPU (the most famous brand is AMD and Intel)
2. VGA Card Display Card or
3. Memory or RAM

Mainboard as one of the main components for overclocking computers, usually have a BIOS (Basic Input Output System) is quite complete. In the BIOS is the computer user can perform setting processor speed and memory speed manually or automatically. While in the VGA or Display Card, overcloking can only be done in the operating system software with a certain windows. If we have enough experts, VGA overclocking can be done with the "flashing VGA BIOS" and "hard modding" (replace specific components or install potensiometer) to increase the speed VGA permanently. How called this last is quite dangerous because it can also cause permanent damage.

so, for overclocking safely, in short we call the "safe overclocking," needed some software that runs in the windows operating system. Software-This software is software that is not official, only the software that is specifically made by people - people with a particular enthusiast overclocking. While the software for the official, can be obtained directly from the driver / software that is in the Bundle when we buy components Mainboard / VGA. For example, the MSI software DualCoreCenter, with Asus AI Booster, with EasyTune Gigabyte, Albatron with Dr.Speed, and with the Biostar T-overclockers.

Software for Overclocking :

1. Overclocking Processor.
- Ntune: overclocking software processor for the mainboard that has NVIDIA nForce chipset. Can be found at: http://www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility.html
- Overdrive: software overcloking processor mainboard for AMD that have chipset. Can be found at: http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_overdrive.aspx
- SetFSB: software overcloking processor to chipset mainboard with Intel, Nvidia or AMD. Can be found at: http://www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb/

2. Overclocking Memory.
- MemSet: software that is used to optimize the mengoverclock memory and memory timing. Can be found at: http://www.tweakers.fr/memset.html

3. Overclocking VGA.
- RivaTuner: software that is used for overclocking VGA Nvidia or AMD Ati Radeon. Retrieved on: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=163
- AtiTool: the software was originally used specifically for mengoverclock ATI VGA, but at this time Nvidia Geforce dioverclock can with this software. Can be found at: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/Tweaking/ATITool/

4. Utility Software Other important and must own.
- CPUZ: is a software utility that can inform the type of processor and memory that we use, and can perform validation overclocking results to be sent to a server that can be viewed by other people from all over the world via the internet. Can be found at: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
- GPUZ: is a software utility that is used to inform the full display card / VGA that we use. Can be found at: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/
- Everest: an information system computer software that we are running, the computer, either processor, memory, VGA, Soundcard, and others. Unfortunately this software is no longer free, but the version trialnya we can still get in: http://www.lavalys.com
- SuperPI: is the software used to test computer dioverclock still able to complete the mathematical calculations are correct or not. Can be found at: http://www.xtremesystems.com/pi/
- Prime Orthos: the software used to test the resilience of the components of the computer dioverclock, if failed in the test with this software, it can be done overclocking unstable. Can be found at: http://www.overclock.net/downloads/138142-orthos.html

thats software above the average can be obtained free of charge, and is very safe to use. Permanently damage the hardware rarely happens if we use the correct and careful.
When the damage and not something that we expected is not responsible.
